about

"More Joy" from Ramón Amezcua “Bostich” is a special bonus track, commissioned by Ballroom Marfa, from the long-term project MXTX: A Cross-Border Exchange. The full album will be released this Spring — more news coming next week!

'MXTX' is a collaborative project, envisioned by composer Graham Reynolds, co-curated by Orión García, Coka Treviño, and Felipe Pérez Santiago, featuring forty DJ-producers and composers from Mexico and the United States.

The project offers an insightful examination of borders by building musical, cultural, and social connections through collective artmaking, culminating in an open-souce audio sample library, album, and live performance.
